Founded by PYE Global co-founders Charlie Murphy and Peggy Taylor in 1996. Power of Hope serves youth in Washington State and British Columbia
with arts/empowerment summer programs, winter retreats, and in-school programs. Power of Hope trains youth workers, teachers, artists, and volunteer in ways to use the arts in
working with youth. 

 

LifeBeat
London England

Founded by a community group in London
with the support of PYE Global in 2007. LifeBeat offers week-long summer programs, winter reunions, and trainings for adults in ways to use the arts in working with youth.

 

In Movement
Kampala Uganda

Founded by Begonia Caparros, In Movement: Art for Social Change implements an arts education program for disadvantaged and orphaned children and youth in Kampala, Uganda. Through their partnership with PYE Global, In Movement has adopted the arts empowerment camp model. 

 

MLISADA Orphanage
Kampala Uganda

The MLISADA Orphanage in Kampala, Uganda cares for 70 Ugandan children who have been abandoned or orphaned due to AIDS, poverty and social upheaval.  PYE Global facilitators are partnering with MLISADA to build a vibrant, healing environment at its facility.  With the help of PYE Global, the marginalized children and adolescents served by the orphanage are finding their voices and unleashing their unique potential through creative self-expression, meaningful relationship and an empowering sense of community.   Read More...


 

Culture Jam

Founded by the Oregon Country Fair in Eugene, Oregon in 2000 with assistance from Power of Hope. Culture Jam runs one weeklong camp each summer
at the Oregon Country Fairgrounds. Culture Jam
runs occasional winter programs for youth in
Eugene and trainings for adults.

 

The Creative Facilitation Team

Formed by a group of program leaders from a consortium of youth-serving organizations based
in Kampala, Uganda. The Creative Facilitation
Team provides facilitation, training, and program management for organizations using the Creative Community Model to address the needs of youth

Bead For Life Vocational Education Program

Bead for Life is a poverty eradication program creating bridges of understanding between impoverished Africans and concerned world citizens. Ugandan women turn colorful recycled paper into beautiful beads, and people who care open their hearts, homes and communities to buy and sell the beads. Bead for Life partners with PYE Global to provide arts empowerment camps for participants
in their Vocational Education Program.
