Emmanuel Masaba works as a Library Research Assistant at the KiBO Foundation, a charitable Ugandan organization committed to helping Africa’s youth build a better world for themselves and their communities through education, leadership, and community service. He is passionate about mentoring, training, and tutoring the youth at KiBO and about preparing them to play a relevant and effective role in their work and their communities. He began training as a PYE Global facilitator in 2008 and has assisted in youth camp facilitation with PYE Global and Bead For Life’s Vocational Education Training Program. Through his work with KiBO and PYE Global he has become skilled at relating to individuals from different backgrounds and helping them find a sense of direction and inspiration in pursuing career development and life goals. He is a strong advocate of the use of creative learning techniques in education and personal empowerment.

Emmanuel feels a special commitment to the principle of giving back to the larger community. He has participated in charity and fundraising activities at Mulago Hospital aimed at assisting children suffering from cancer and has worked as a volunteer with deaf Ugandan youth and with ghetto youth in Kamwokya, a Kampala suburb. He is currently studying for a Diploma in Records and Information Management at the Uganda Management Institute.

“My dream is that through the use of creative learning techniques we can all begin to play a role in uplifting each other and creating a more vibrant and supportive worldwide community!”
