Biography

Mauryn Bukenya works with the Private Education Development Network (PEDN) as a program officer with the Young Entrepreneurs Program and as a facilitator and trainer in entrepreneurship and business skills. She is also the owner and director of the decoration business 'Momo’s Décor Supplies'.

Mauryn has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Makerere University Business School; a Certificate in Computer Applications from Makerere University; a Certificate in Entrepreneurship Training of Trainers from the National Curriculum Development Centre; and a Certificate in Camp Staff Training from the Hole in the Wall Camps. Her special areas of skill include personal relations, creativity, time management, computer skills, administrative skills, and training of trainers. Mauryn began PYE Global facilitation training in 2007. She has been a staff member of the Hole in the Wall camps for children living with cancer and has been a regular staff member of PYE youth programs and adult trainings.

“My dream is to see children and young adults change their attitude towards learning, education, and development through engagement with the camp learning model, an approach that uses a more practical and youth-driven methodology.”
